a story of a princess and prayer

Once upon a time… There was a beautiful princess named Kate. She loved adventures, especially with her brothers in a nearby meadow. During one of these adventures with her mother the queen, Princess Kate c aught a beautiful yellow butterfly as she lay in a bed of purple wildflowers just long enough to say hello.

She ran up the hills so fast her mother had to try with all her might to keep up. The princess found a snow topped mountain nearby and pointed to it. “Look mama! Isn’t it beautiful?!”The queen with her long thick black hair flowing in the wind began to sing with the voice of Julie Andrews, “.the hills are alive” they laughed and laughed and then the princess found something new and exciting.it was a bamboo forest! “lets see what’s in side” she said

” Stop mama!” she cried “don’t come in here something stung me!”, Her bare legs were turning red and ached with pain.  The princess looked up at her mother in agony and asked if she would pray for the stinging pain to go away. The brave little princess cried silently as they stood in the tall grass on the side of a hill with folded arms. Her mother prayed in faith that the pain would go away immediately. Hand in hand they turned to leave for home. Then, all of a sudden, Princess Kate looked up and said “it doesn’t hurt anymore! It’s a miracle mama!” she began to twirl in the grass with the sun shining upon her angelic face.

The two continued on in their adventure to a secret place below. As they walked through a mysterious forest they heard a familiar sound. The sound grew louder as they stood still in fright. This time the little princess prayed. She asked Heavenly Father that they wouldn’t be harmed by the swarm of bees above them. And once again a beloved daughter of Gods prayer was heard and answered immediately. Now she had two miracles to go home and tell her brothers and sister about.

It was an adventure they would never forget for there the little princess learned  a valuable lesson. when she needed healing or protection on her journey she knows what to do. as she grows she will remember that whenever she is frightened or hurt, Not one, but two prayers were heard from a King who is far, far, away and yet He is always watching over her. And because she knows this for herself, she will live happily ever after.

the end. (this  story is completely true, except for the queens long black hair and her voice like Julie Andrews. that is definitely a fantasy.)

” Isn’t it remarkable to know that our eternal Heavenly Father knows you, hears you, watches over you, and loves you with an infinite love? In fact, His love for you is so great that He has granted you this earthly life as a precious gift of “once upon a time,” complete with your own true story of adventure, trial, and opportunities for greatness, nobility, courage, and love. And, most glorious of all, He offers you a gift beyond price and comprehension. Heavenly Father offers to you the greatest gift of all—eternal life—and the opportunity and infinite blessing of your own “happily ever after.”…

“You are truly royal spirit daughters of Almighty God. You are princesses, destined to become queens. Your own wondrous story has already begun. Your “once upon a time” is now. ..

the day will come when you turn the final pages of your own glorious story; there you will read and experience the fulfillment of those blessed and wonderful words: “And they lived happily ever after.”
