personal revelation

I don’t know why the past couple years Jeremy’s and mine answers to prayer s have come in a very small and quiet way, almost as if we are not getting an answer at all.  Yet, we know that God is answering and guiding us even through the seeming fog where it seems there is  no illumination. We have had to feel our way through it. We have had to work hard and consistently, and be dedicated to living in such a way that we can hear the faint, almost whisper of the spirit.  Our answers  have not come all at once, only in pieces, a little here and a little there. Because of this tutoring from on high and to not waste  my afflictions and lessons learned, I’ve decided to write a three part blog post on how I believe we receive personal revelation.  I believe  that to know how to receive and then act on personal revelation is the most vital weapon we can have in this raging war we are now engaged in. A war not against flesh and blood but  “against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). I want to help in some small way if I can, my fellow soldiers in this war so we can all arrive safely home together…in one piece! We must fight, and we will win!

“Through a still small voice, the Spirit speaks to me
To guide me, to save me from the evil I may see.
If I try to do what’s right, he will lead me thru the night,
Direct me, protect me, and give my soul his light.
Listen, listen. The Holy Ghost will whisper.
Listen, listen to the still small voice.”
I know as we become like a little child, meek  and full of love for our Heavenly Father, we will hear him. we will feel His light and He will save us from the evil seen… and unseen.
